The estrematolitos are the most importante in the lagoon have so much mile of years and of natural form you dont forget to visit Bacalar the people are more tourisr.

The place we visited had an entry point and you can float down river and then do it again. These natural prehistoric formations are amazing and should be viewed before they all die off. The water was also a nice break from the heat! Great...More

This is something you should not miss if in Bacalar. The lake colors are amazing and the float trip is very cool. Bring your snorkel so you can see what is floating along with you and swimming against the current.
