Wonderful walk in beautiful woods down by the river Tees, if your lucky you will see otters. Its a stunning haven in what's considered a industrial area

Very pleasant walk. Adjoins Bassleton Woods, so a few hours walk in all. Bluebells, wild garlic, deer (hard to spot!) amongst the usual woodland flora and fauna.

I regularly walk my dog in the woods here and they really are an oasis! The paths are well maintained and hold up well all year round. I regularly see deer, foxes and other wildlife when walking in the woods. There are lots of different routes you can take walking through the woods. It's such a shame that not everyone respects the woods though and there is often stuff dumped there and generally a couple of shopping trolleys too!
