We rented a motorbike at Petron, the only gas station of Basco. It was the best P125/hour money spent. We were able to drive/ride the most of the coastal roads from Piers to the Rolling Hills. Amidst the drive, we stopped at these lovely churches,...More

Several entrances available. When ever you visit members will be in the church. The Alter is in fantastic condition, the best I have seen. Great stained glass windows with good lighting to show it off. Lots of fans to keep it comfortable.

Very calming interior with a very striking yellow-hued facade. It's everything I imagined a small town church to be. We loved it!

the mass was held in English and the parish priest even gave us an applause for attending mass even we're tourists.

located near the plaza, Batanes State College, and the provincial capitol. You will also pass by this church on your way to the Naidi hills.

One thing with Batanes, there are as many churches as there are hills and lighthouses. The locals are very devout and 90% are Catholic.

Located right in the heart of Basco, Batanes. The cathedral serves the catholic community here. The church is said to be built in 1812 and is one of the first limestone buildings to be constructed.

This cathedral is located right opposite the port and the honesty coffee shop and its a must see-it is so so beautiful and still retains its original architecture and design style.

This old church has a wonderful charm that Batanes has to offer, the courtyard has a replica version of the surrounding structures, so it would be nice to have photos taken there also.
