The lighthouse is very near the town and you can walk right to it, climb the flight of stairs and take in the breath taking view of the hills and the sea.

We ensured that this will be part of our trip. So we went all the way up on the hills and hiked as close as possible to take great pictures of this. And it was all worth it!

This lighthouse was constructed in 2003 to serve as a navigational facility for local fishermen and at the same time as a tourist attraction. You would normally see a flock of tourists here flying their drones, and even prenuptial shoots!

This is a beautiful light house part of the north batan tour. it can get pretty windy. you need the right weather to get the best photos

This is the only lighthouse in Basco where you can climb up to the top. It was very windy but very nice viewof Mt. Iraya, West Philippine sea and Basco town. Very picturesque. 👍

That start of the rainy season will bring out the green colors of Batanes, but going to Sabtang island might be troublesome because even at regular days, the waves are big already. Weigh your choices properly. I'd try going... More
