I didn't find this place any extra ordinary .It was quiet far from main town and very dangerous walk to rocky water tanks.

It's such a shame that they have not been preserved. In fact you could miss them if you had not got local information of the area. Its is certainly not marked up from the road side.

This is well worth a small detour, possibly on your way to see the Milonas Waterfall which is nearby. But is it a Minoan Water Tank? No, it's a Roman fish trap. Plenty of pictures and a nature guide at: http://cretenature.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/in-search-of-roman-repast.html

The right location are rocks nearly Kakkos bay hotel. You can see big square from satellite view of Google Maps. 500m west there are also two fish tanks little bit smaller.
