We took this road train from Camara de Lobos up to Capo Girao. It was on time and very clean. Would certainly recommend this one

Great fun going up and coming down. The driver has a sense of humour. £7.50 each person return trip which in total is about 75 minutes. Only a fifteen minute stopover when you get there so after taking in the view from the platform you...More

If you don’t fancy walking up the hills to see the views, let the train take the strain. The Madeira Green train will make exploring Camara de Lobos easygoing.

We done the full day tour on the west of the island Seen viewpoints in Madeira that you would not believe Our guide and driver David was very knowledgable and took us to some beautiful places Would highly recommend this trip Try the real poncha

I think it runs every day which is confirmed on their website. Price is quoted as e5 & e9 although earlier this year it was 7.50 - must be getting ready for brexit.

None of the cruise ships trips stop at the view point, so you would have to book on to a red bus tour, that stops at Camera de Lobos, then Tate the train up to the view point , allowing yourself plenty of time to walk... More
