Visited this beach twice during our stay and loved the sandy beach and shallow waters. My 2 year old daughter had a blast in the sea each day.
The amount of cabanas and beds ruins what would be a very beautiful beach. They have been put up right against the surf so not huge amount of space to play on the sand.
We paid for 2 beds and an umbrella each day which costs about 30 euros a day. If you want shade you do need to pay. These beds do come with waiter service which was nice.

Totally ruined by ugly cabanas all along the beach. Used to be so perfect, I can’t believe this has been allowed. Feels so claustrophobic and ruins the view out to sea. The cabanas with dirty white nailed on blinds and the sunbeds behind them are fixed so you can’t move them to choose between shade and sun. So you pay a fortune for a front row cabana and end up sitting on the sand in front of them if you want to be in the sun. Won’t be coming back to what used to be our favourite beach and tbh has put us off Rhodes as a whole. The local authorities should be ashamed they let this happen.

Stunning beach with beautiful gold sand but this year it was mostly covered with close together wooden beach cabanas so you cannot enjoy the scenery. The sun loungers are screwed into the cabanas so you cannot position them into or out of the sun. Some of them have curtains but this only serves to further obscure the view. The 3 stars are for friendly attendants, clean toilets and good parking facilities.

This beach was one of the most beautiful, tranquil beaches on the island. Now totally destroyed by rows of 4 poster sunbeds with rows of beds behind, claustrophobic with no sea view. The restaurant is over priced and plays constant , boom, boom noise. Best take an umbrella and lay on the sand.
One day, hopefully return to its original beauty

Our favourite beach by far, we visited around 10am for an hour and it was just serene. We didn’t hire a bed, just put our towels down at the end of the beach just off the shoreline. Beautiful beach, with beautiful clear water for snorkelling.

Disaster/ ruined.
Have come here many years, but today is the last time.
Newly build “houses” on first, second and third row ruins the view for every one. We have on first row for 50 eur, but can only look straight ahead. To the sides are houses with cover sheets all around, so nobody can see anything. Even worse for those behind, cannot see anything at all. There has always been loud bad music, doesn’t make the experience better.
Really don’t hope that other beaches on Rhodes will do the same, then it will be difficult to come back.

So so sad, came to Rhodes four years ago and visited this beach loads, loved it and the beach bar. Fast forward to now and sadly it has been absolutely ruined by rows of cabanas crammed together, taking up most of the beach, bright and tacky inflatables at rip off prices and crazy prices in the one snack bar. Won't be going back there ever again, really, really sad as this was our favourite beach. It's put us off ever coming back to Rhodes again so this greed is self defeating for the economy and the government should do something to regulate it 😔 If I could rate it no stars I would. Avoid!

We have had two wonderful holidays in Charaki. We recommended it to our son who is there now. He reports that Agathi beach has been ruined. It was the best beach on Rhodes and made our holiday. What a shame greed has spoilt it. Loud music, expensive food and designer sun beds. Sorry Rhodes we won't be back.

Used to be best beach on island, now spoilt by the company that is replacing the parasols with cabinas. Not only do they spoil the view for all but the first view, but they only offer shade over 1 bed for about 2hrs of the day. Now the first 3 rows are all cabinas we will not go back. It would be good if the Greek councils put some controls in place before they lose tourism.

Can I get a bus from perks to Agatha beach

I believe there is a bus that goes from Pefkos via Lindos etc!
You'll need to catch the bus that goes to HARAKI (also spelt Charaki) the driver will drop you off at the small junction for Agathi Beach (also known as Golden Sand Beach).
Agathi Beach (also known as Aghia Agathi) is right next to the ruins of Feraklos Castle (also spelt as Pheraklos Castle)
Confusing I know but trust me on this!
