We wandered out of Limoux on a quiet lunchtime to this impressive basilica. It is set in a lovely position on a hill overlooking the river and town. The inside is incredibly ornate with many colours and patterns and lovely stained glass windows.

Fascinating, another of these local mysteries (to a tourist anyway) beautiful paintings and in perfect condition, with one of the few Black Madonna's in France.
