Nice to visit a less publicised beach which isn't dominated by selfie takers. Low key but relaxing. Seems like safe bathing for children. There's a taverna too (bit picey, of course.)

Chrissi Akti is in good proximity to Chania, however it's very clean, something that is also indicated by the blue flag. It's a relatively long sandy beach with some organised facilities, including sunbeds (for 7 euro per set) a canteen, open shower and some changing...More

Nice beach close to Chania.Shallow water and cristalclear! Best service from Panagiotis and Stavroula - they are in the middle of the beach. Getting drinks and food from the Piraha cafeteria was great.

This beach has everything: close parking (free), chairs and umbrellas for 7 euros, little waves and warm water so it's easy to swim. It's a great spot to go to! There's also a couple cafés with some light food.

Clean, soft sand. Great view. Frequented by both locals and tourists but not crowded. Beach beds and umbrellas available.

Nice and clean beach, not overcrowded, a bar next to it, parking place nearby. Not the best beach of Crete, but certainly a nice one.

Good service in terms of umbrellas and beach beds etc, not too crowded in June and still not super-hot
