Free entrance. Maps obtainable from Info in Main Street. Lovely walks, easily sign posted. Fantastic for photography - reflections in dam, ‘friendly’ sugarbirds that pose on giant proteas etc. Birdlife is plentiful. Various walks to suit different degrees of fitness. No litter anywhere. Highly recommended!!!!

We recently hiked the 14km Bosmanskloof trail, starting just outside of McGregor, and finishing in Greyton (the easier way to do it as it's mostly downhill). Unless you are considering doing an 'out-and-back', or have friends that you can swap keys with halfway, the logistics...More

A must see visit as a photographer wgen in Greyton. No entrance fees are charged and its completely safe to stroll around the numerous hiking paths alone. Dependant on the time of year there is a huge field of wild proteas.. Which attract the sunbirds...More

We visited as part of a photo outing. Great opportunities to photograph birds, flowers and even some landscapes. Great walks in nature. Loved the early morning outing.

Our little group walked to the waterfall for a picnic. It was an easy walk with children. Proteas were in bloom so it was even more beautiful. There are lots of trails in this reserve. Highly recommend

Planned to only walk for an hour or so, on relatively flat terrain. Unfortunately the maps are not so good, and the markings are poor. So we had a great walk, but not as planned. The flowers in the finbos were really beautiful - especially...More

After a delicious lunch at Via's we went for a short hike in the Greyton Nature Reserve. What a pleasant walk. The trickling stream/river led up to some beautiful water pools, where if you brave the ice cold water after a short swim one can...More

What an amazing mountain range, it makes other mountains seem so dull. There were areas where the plants were higher than my head, such an array of foliage. Very special experience!
