You should definitely come here if you’re interested in the wildlife of the area, like seeing animals, or have small kids you need to entertain. The animals all just roam the grounds so it’s much neater than a zoo. Watch out though, don’t step on...More

What a hoot it was watching the monkeys, deer and tortoises at feeding time (2pm). Never been that close to “wild animals” that were as engaging and fun. Watch your step though, the tortoises are many and very slow.

If you want to see monkeys and tortoise up close this is a must. We got loads on f great photos and was good just to wander around the reserve. Really good value for money as well.

I had read the reviews about getting there before feeding time. They were right. All the animals come out of hiding during feeding time and it is an awesome sight to see!

Although not the best reserve I’ve been to, it was worth it just to view the monkeys and tortoises. The cages were too small for the birds they have and the rabbits didn’t seem too impressed with their living quarters either! Wear sturdy shoes. Not...More

Aim not to miss the 2 p.m. feeding time where the monkeys (predominantly) but also tortoises, peacock’s, deer and other animals come down for a tropical fruit and veg feed. The reserve is also a zoo with a reptile house - including iguanas, tropical birds,...More

We missed feeding time. But on entry staff introduced us to Charlie, his monkey. He spent a lot of time talking with us and even let us feed Charlie and take photos with him. There were loads of other monkeys running around around the reception...More

We rented a car for three of our days and took an adventurous ride around the island. The afternoon feeding is something to see. You are so close to the monkeys and their babies and yet you feel safe.

Small area, only saw a couple of different animals. The most entertaining were the monkeys running around.

Hi, Aneta. There is a small cafeteria offering simple but tasty sandwiches. We went from Batscheba by bus (heading to Speightstown) and asked the driver to stop by Wildlife Reserve. There is a bus stop anyway. You can always... More
