    Beautiful, interesting-walk along a levada in the forest. Views to the coast. Take warm clothes as can be chilly and a torch for tunnels.

    AMAZING hike

    We had the most amazing hike on this trail with stunning views and green scenery. We absolutely loved this hike and the amazing waterfall at the end. A long hike but a must-do in Maderia.

    Just take a taxi to the start of the walk (and ask the driver to come and fetch you 5 hours later). Take a picnic. There is no way you can get lost on the path. You can organise it by yourselves. We didn't meet or get in... More
