Something completely unexpected when visiting the Alsace region of France. The monkeys are amazing and seem to be very happily roaming the grounds. Not all are interested in interacting, but those that are sit very accessibly. The views are amazing including the panorama of the...More

Could be a nice stop for about an hour. There are some specific feeding times when the staff feeds them but you don't loose much if you don't see it... There is a playground, café and souvenir shop if needed.

This was the first stop of our sight-seeing trip. Be aware of the crowds, as this is a very popular place. Watching the Macaus was fun, particularly the youngsters who like children were chasing and goading each other by the pond.

We fell in love with this place. My son was over the moon in the park, feeding monkeys and being so close to them was a great experience. We didn't want to leave the park, it was so good, relaxing, entertaining, educational experience.

Stopped there on our way to Strasbourg. At the car park we thought it was a kids place. In fact, we really enjoyed the visit, it’s very informative on the preservation side and the proximity to the monkeys is a treat for all. Really worth...More

We visited La Montagne des Singes (a.k.a. Monkey Mountain) on the same day as La Volerie des Aigles, and we found Money Mountain to be far more enjoyable and less depressing. While the monkeys do not "perform" for their guests, they really do simply through...More

I drover nearly 3 Hours to come here. This place may sit on 60 acres, but not much is allotted for watching and viewing; which is totally fine, because the monkeys are the ones who live here! I was disappointed because after being there only...More

It may have been due to the date of our visit, a Sunday in August, but the park was so crowded that they had to count out the number of popcorns allowed per visitor so as not to completely overfed the monkeys.

You stroll around and sit and feed popcorn to macaque monkeys, who daintily pluck the kernels out of your open palm with a British aristocratic bent wrist. Knowledgeable tour guides who speak English, German and French (got to practice my French), and remind you to...More

We came with our young kids on the morning of a hot day. The monkey reserve is in the woods so there is plenty of shade. The monkeys (Barbary macaques) are just wandering around, eating, grooming each other, sleeping, playing. You get very close to...More
