This is a great and quiet beach in april. I think it's to crowded in the summer months. You find it at a small beach town/fishing village.

A lot of beaches in this area have had the sand removed by storms, but Salema has more than most. A decent walk along the beach is possible, with an offshore sandbar with a bit of a wave on it. OK village with a few...More

This time of year there’s no where open and once you’ve dipped your toes in the water then that’s your lot. Salema is pretty run down and needs a major facelift - unless you enjoy resorts unspoilt by progress.

Unfortunately, what once used to be a quiet fishing village, has now become an increasingly ugly background of concrete layered apartments. The beach is still an enjoyable attraction with enough surf to attract a younger generation.

Me and Becky love this beach as it is a real working beach you can see the fishermen bring in their haul and, if you fancy it, buy it for your barbecue. You can rent loungers and parasols or rough it on the sand. There...More

Sandy beach in a lovely bay. There are lots of seabirds on the beach because there are lots of small fishing vessels that operate from here. There are good walks in either direction and stunning scenery.

after trying to park the car on the limited available parking space, a short walk leads you to the beach. A nice white sandy beach, not too crowded. A flat sea offers nice swiming possibilities for small kids, of which there might have been a...More

Staying in Salema Beach Village for a two week holiday with family. Visited the beach a few times and loved it! Beautiful sand and lots of places to have a meal and a drink. Great Beach!
