We walked/scrambled up this Piton from Hotel Lacaz Chamarel (it has a gate out onto the path). It is a steep walk up but worth it for the stunning views across the south west of the island.

Great panoramic view which was worth the climb to the summit. Found the descent slightly tricky as it was slippy due to the dry ground. Would definitely recommend wearing decent walking shoes/trainers.

We visited the Ebony tree forest (in TA also), which offered ride with a jeep into forrest, where their nature trail started. From there you could hike in 20 min to the top of the Piton. You have beautiful 360 degree view from the top....More

Hello, it is a small path next to lakaz chamarel road.. you can try to find it on google map. It is infront of the juncti9n to plaine champagne road. There is a kiosk at the entrance. Hope it helps....
