Great value and would defiantly recommend this to anyone when staying in Kawaguchiko. Booked last minute but was so glad we could get in! The tour guide was lovely and spoke great English. It was so interesting seeing the factory, learning about the history and...More

Learned a lot about Sake and were able to try three different kinds. We bought a few bottles to take home at a very reasonable price. The owners are modest about their English language skills but we understood everything they said. Great tour!!!

Got to taste 3 Sakes and a plum wine. Very informative hostess with good English, pretty good value. Lots of sake related items in the shop. Can be a little hard to find in the streets of Kawaguchiko but worth it.

There isn’t a huge amount to do in the area, but this is worth while visiting. The owner who conducts the tour is upfront that her English isn’t great, but the tour was still great and informative. At the end you sit in the shop...More

We did the tour (including a tasting) during our stay in Kawaguchiko. We loved visiting the brewery and hearing about the history (the brewery has been in the same family for 20+ generations!) and the process of making sake. The owner was a wonderful guide,...More

100% worth doing. The owner takes you around the brewery and explains the process of making sake. It's explained very clearly and really interesting to see where it is all made. The process is done in winter so there were also videos of it being...More

This sake brewery has a small tasting room and for just 300 yen you can taste 4 samples and get a brief tutorial. They also offer a tour of the brewery, but we were kind of pressed for time and did not partake. You can...More

I'd take a taxi (not too far, and you can try the sake) or walk. Maybe 20 min walk.
