We visited this park on our way to the Haneda Airport at the end of the photography tour with Michele Michiko. It is located next to a small shopping cum souvenir centre and adjacent to Lake Kawaguchiko. It has the most incredible view of Mount...More

I spent almost two hours in Oishi Park, which offers the best postcard-view of Mount Fuji. Honestly, there is nothing special with the park (it was winter so all flowers/plants were monochrome) but seeing Fuji San in its glorious splendor made the trip worth it!

Oishi park is a great spot for some photos. The flowers are not at bloom in winter but it is still a great view

It was a cloudy late November morning and we had a lazy late start. Eventually we got into the Railway station and caught the Red Bus. Although guite crowded the bus trip offered good view of the lake on one side, and of the townships...More

We walked around looking out for flowers, views, anything that would explain why this is a place to visit but we didn't find anything worth the trip. Skip it!

We have visited Lake Kawaguchiko by early November but the weather by then was not that good. We traveled to Oishi Park by Red Bus and the place was not as crowded as we expected. The "pink" scrubs were not in full color and Mt....More

I visited the park in autumn, not much plantation there but only some “pink/ red plant”, all the visitors crushed to those plants, so it’s hardly to take a photo.

This place is very easy to get to. Take the Red Retro bus to the terminus. It's right there. The flower garden is small but pretty well maintained. It will definitely look better in the summer time. It also offers a great view of Mount...More

This is the best vantage point for taking pictures of Mount Fuji for sure! But while you search for that iconic photograph, you'll be treated to one of the more sensational flower gardens I've ever seen. They also have a store for souvenirs and a...More

A must place to visit when you are in Fuji-Kawaguchiko area. This is the best place to take picture of Mt. Fuji. Mountain, lake & beautiful flowers (oh and ice cream too!). What a perfect combo! It offers a jam-making session (in case you’re interested)

I have not been to Chureito Pagoda so can’t advise you which is better. But if you are already in Lake kawaguchiko area and not in a rush, you might want to visit Oishi Park as it is quite near (take red line bus). Don’t... More
