To call this a park is probably being generous - it is more of a viewpoint, but what a view. The day our tour visited Oishi Park the weather was clear and Mount Fuji was in its full glory. The stop 'made' our entire Japan...More

Nice place to stop by for a coffee and some souvenirs while enjoying a great view of the lake and Mt Fuji. There are nice flowers here as well, but this depends on the season. Please check the weather before coming as you might miss...More

Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center is a small building that allows you to buy food and souvenirs. Right next to Natural Living Center is the Oishi Park. Even though the flowers were not in bloom when I visited on 15 May 2018, the panoramic view of...More

We had a quick stroll here as part of our trip to Mt. Fuji. The park offers a serene atmosphere with views of Mt. Fuji, the glistening lake, and the pleasant fields. We enjoyed walking in the area, and it is definitely a must-visit place.

Once in Japan, a must stop is to go to view Mt. Fuji. It is a sunning view of the snow covered mountain. The ropeway or the tram is across from the mountain itself. It is not particulary nice since it is across from the...More

We only had time to tour about 4 spots in Kawaguchiko during our one night stay but this was the highlight! Not to be missed! Amazing view, take time to walk around and enjoy it after taking a million photos.

Take the red line from Kawaguchiko station. The last few stops (stop No 20, 21, 22) cover the Oishi park on the bus. The small pathway along the lake from Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center to approximately around the bus stop 20 is a great place...More

Oishi park is reached by taking the red line sightseeing bus from Kawaguchiko station. It is stop number 22 or basically the last stop of the red line route. We definitely managed to get decent photos of the mountain from here than anywhere else.

This park is the viewpoint of Mount Fuji. It is loacted a bit far from the station side. So, you have to take a bus to reach here. Be careful though because the bus only runs until 6 pm. If you miss the bus, you...More

I have not been to Chureito Pagoda so can’t advise you which is better. But if you are already in Lake kawaguchiko area and not in a rush, you might want to visit Oishi Park as it is quite near (take red line bus). Don’t... More
