Didn’t really go for the shows, spent the time taking pics at the garden. Nice European style buildings, good for photography.

This is a weird museum full of instruments all right but you can't listen to very many of them. The atmosphere reminded us of a theme park for children. Unfortunaterly I cannot recommend this museum if you're interested in mechanical instruments.

Visited this museum with my husband and kids. This place can be covered in half a day. We enjoyed doing the personalized music boxes! Great view of Mt Fuji on a clear day.

There are several souvenir shops in the museums. I didn't see any DIY workshops for such but you should be able to buy one with your favourite songs.
