Pemayangtse monastery is a nice place to visit. The museum in the top floor is full of 17th and 18th centuries historical things. You will feel different if you stay in 2nd floor in the time of their prayer around 10 am morning

Almost all look alike monastries dates back to 18th century. Buddhism is strictly followed here. Many monks are practising silence. If you are lucky, you can also enjoy the prayer and pray for self. Historical facts can be vouchsafed by seeing this monastry.
