Its the oldest monastery in Sikkim - nice chortheng (stupas) and flags there though the main monastery building itself was closed when we went there.

beautiful monastery to visit in the heart of pelling town.. you will have to trek for around 40mins to reach this place but its worth it..u will not regret it.. i would recommend this place to everyone..

Full of tranquility this divine little monastery on top of the hill, lovely buildings full of ambience🌺 You can walk from Pelling.

we have visited there in June 1st week. Nicely maintained, location is good. Stupa is bigger and Hall constructed for training of people. If going peeliong it;s on the way and can go there.
