The roar of the water fall and the lush verdant surroundings transports one immediately to the midst of Nature with all its enchantments. Incidentally, although the fall carries the name of Kanchenjunga, it is not on the mountain with that name!

One has to walk a little over 20-30 mts from the main road to reach the actual waterfall ... The actual waterfall is really a treat to watch with aggressive flow and serenity all around.. We had a toddler so didn't find it wise to...More

Nice view of the Kanchenjunga falls. Good location. Helping hands to reach closer to the water. Its was made commercialized with food stalls. entry way was a bit narrow for the food stalls. Overall a nice place to visit.

You can’t see it when you reach there. After climbing 100odd steps you can see this ferocious waterfall hidden in the lap of rocks. I saw few young volunteers around 14 to 18 years, standing on every big rock and they hold tourists hands to...More

Kanchenjunga Falls is located right near the highway but not visible from it. After paying Rs.20/person entry fee at the counter next to the highway, one needs to climb steps for about 150-200ft leading to a fast flowing stream with intermittent rocks. A voluntary group...More

Best time to visit pelling is when you can get the maximum chance of getting a clear sky. We visited in June, still we get a large glimpse of Kanchenjhunga from our hotel. So, Dec is a good choice.
