This is a nice temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and located at Yawteshwar village. There are two idols of Nandi at entrance. Nice idol of Lord Shiva. Very religious ambiance.

This ancient temple of Lord Shiva is in Yawteshwar village located a few kilometers from Satara. The unique feature about this temple is that it has two Nandis at the entrance to the sanctum. A peaceful and serene temple to take Lord's Darshan.

Very nice place..Must visit..one of the old temple in Satara. Whole route is awesome to travel during monsoon season.

Yawateshwar temple is a historic temple located at Yawateshwar and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is about 5 km from Satara. Surrounded by dense evergreen forests of the Sahyadri Rangee of the Western Ghats, Yawteshwar Temple is situated at an altitude of 336 m.

Yawteshwar is a Avtar of God Shiva. Yawteshwar Temple is approx 5 k.m. away from Satara City. Avoid traveling during night, as there is no access return back to City. Private vehicle is preferable. During the time of Yatra, villagers nearby villages visit this place...More
