We visited Sajjangarh in the monsoons. The views from here are unparalleled. This fort overlooks other hills in Udaipur and offers a breathtaking view of the entire city and the lakes. Although not able to view the sunset because of overcast conditions, we will always...More

This offers great view of Udaipur city and real good breeze. Other than this, there is nothing to see. You have Chunda Palace Cafe for some quick refreshments.

Little walking is required say around 20-30 minutes. However, after reaching top, one will have a beautiful view. Actually best viewing point is from the Hanuman Temple which is located on the back side of Fort. Nice to view sunset, if possible.

Sajjangarh fort holds the monsoon palace of the Udaipur royal family. Although it is no more used by the Royal family, yet it offers a good view of Udaipur city and especially of the sunset.

The fort as such is not much to mention about. Though the biggest attraction is the view from top behind the fort. You will love the view Kas lave and Sahyadri hills from top.

Climbing up from the parking area is not tough, but the experience is just about average. Stairs are steep.
