This is a nice temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh. Name Dholya means fatty and since this idol is large in size, this name is given to this lord Ganesh. Located on the banks of Krishna river this temple is worth a visit.

The Dholya Ganpati temple is located in Wai village close to the banks of River Krishna. The Lord Ganesha idol is quiet massive and gives a distinctive character to the temple. We had a very nice darshan as the temple was not crowded.

This is a quiet and peaceful temple. This temple is named as Dholya( meaning fat) Ganapati as the idol is 10 ft tall and 8 ft wide. It has a parking space. Krishna river flows by. There is kashivishweshwar temple in the same vicinity
