After visiting Kaas plateau we came here at Kaas lake . Really it was also good experience for me. Evening time is the best to see the sunset. Also a good place for Photographers and models.

This lake is very big. it is near Satara pune. You can reach there by car very easily. Also parking is enough. You can spend weekend one day family trip.

The Kaas lake is approached by the same road as one takes for the Kaas plateau. The lake is quiet beautiful and serene and definitely worth visiting if one is driving to the plateau. There is boating also available at the lake.

Officially no, but local public often cook there and enjoy..! you have to carry all the required things for cooking including wood.

You can hire a cab or an autorickshaw from Satara which is 25 KMs from Kaas.
