This lake is very big. it is near Satara pune. You can reach there by car very easily. Also parking is enough. You can spend weekend one day family trip.

The Kaas lake is approached by the same road as one takes for the Kaas plateau. The lake is quiet beautiful and serene and definitely worth visiting if one is driving to the plateau. There is boating also available at the lake.

Nothing exceptional at the lake except it's serenity and beauty. The calmness of the place is ruined with some restaurants in the entrance. Although, the food is good, the natural beauty has been tampered with.
