A great place to visit during September. One can just fall in love with the climate and the beautiful scenic views. We have to walk and climb the stairs to reach the point where the flag is hoisted.

We visited the fort.we know the past History of the place. We are proud of being Marathi and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja is king of Maratha Riyasat.

Its a beautiful place. Though we need to climb too many stairs, each step takes us close to history. Strong fort.. view of sahyadri mountain from the top is amazing.

What’s best about this Fort is the wilderness surrounding it. Enjoy your time here. At the Fort itself you will find someone making 5he most amazing Jhunka Bhakri, a traditional Maharashtrian meal made of millet rotis served with besan subzi and garlic chutney. It’s yummy....More

This is a historic fort on the way to Mahabaleshwar. This place has a nice history behind it, Nice ambiance from the top of the fort. Greenery due to trees is a added beauty.
