The bridge must be crossed while entering into the city. Another good example of British engineering in India. Heav y vehicles are not permitted on the bridge. Though crossed it in daylight, saw the provision made for lighting up the promenade.

The bridge, although looks very old, has one of the finest architectural as well as engineering designs. I was fascinated at its view at the onset of dusk.

The bridge is built in 1929. This is one of the oldest, historic and largest bridges built on river Krishna during the British rule. The Irwin bridge looks awesome at night when its LED lights on

This bridge is built by Britishers. It is indeed historical. Heavy vehicles however are not allowed on the bridge. There is a lighting in the evening. So do visit during the sun set time.
