It would be a disappointment to you if you go with high expectations. Nothing interesting here at this lake.
Its a beautiful lake that has been made dirty for the most part of it by human settlements near the lake. In the lack of proper control by administration, the lake has lost its charm.
No water in the dam and nothing much to see. A big disappointment not only for us but all other people we met on the way.
Bhsuhi dam offered cool breeze and wide view of the lake when we visited in the last week of June. It was treat to the eyes. Dam looks large and alluring in rains, Lush green mountains around the lake adds to the beauty of place....More
Not worth. Not very clean. They say it has a “lot of water” in the monsoon season, but when we went in December it had very tittle water, that too not so clean, to enjoy enough.
Nothing special. May feel disappointing if you have already visited lakes in Himalayas like Nainital area, Bheemtal or other such huge lakes, as compared to those, this Bhusi lake is nothing. May be visited if going through that way.
Highly not recommended only place to visit during monsoon. Nothing special. Just can have bathing as water overflowing over the dam and spilling over the steps making bath enjoyable . parking cost 100 .
We visited lonavala one of the weekend and last day we thought to visit this beautiful place. Place was very calm and serene view. Do visit once if passing by lonavala.
