I must say the campus is a vintage in it's own terms. The institute is for tea research as the name suggests. I saw that the guest house faciltiy is also there for in-house participants and employees.

We visited the Tocklaibtea research institute late one afternoon, and the place was all the more beautiful in the slanting sunshine. We were guided through the tea gardens, and there was a very interesting museum too.

Sophisticated tour by researcher. One of th best parts of my entire tour. This is the major research center on the tea plant its growth, diseases, pests, soil, and sun issues. Essential to any tea planter in the world.
