Could be lack of funds, temple is not well maintained or even cleaned. Located at the end of the main bazar, you can walk around on the temple grounds is large , many flower and fruit sellers at the gate.

this is a temple situated in old town and its older than any living person right now. Its not a place one must see. but a place which is good for a visit once. it feels like you are in a village.
