The temple is situated at d side of Nehru Stadium Fatorda and is worshiped by Damodar Devotees from Madgao City and surrounding it.It is a beautiful small temple on Madgao Ponda Road.Calm n Quiet place.

Popular temple in Margao city...The walls and pillars of the temple have beautiful carvings as well as inscriptions from The Bhagvad Gita. Some pillars depict scenes from the Mahabharata as well as paintings of the other Hindu Gods. Worth a visit..

As a traveller from Tamil Nadu, I find it the temple is simple and small. Yet I could see the local people believing in this temple. Nearby located is a small Ram temple.

Even though this place of worship is virtually on the road, with all outgoing Margao traffic blaring horns and speeding, one can still experience the presence of the Deity, and hence peace ! One can feel energized if chanting is done sitting in a corner...More
