For us it was a waste to travel over 250kms from Bangalore. Resorts nearby are waste as they are very expensive. Forest is not even dense. Better to visit Bannerghatta national park in Bengaluru as you are assured of seeing tigers in safari.

Absolutely enviable location. Perhaps closest to the main Jungle zone than any other stay options. In the night you would have hundreds of deer and a few wild boar just outside your rooms. Great photo opportunity if you are well prepared and can maintain silence....More

Our recent trip.. May 24th..please book the forest bus/jeep safari from forest department at counter. Early morning from 7.30,8.30,9.30 safari only. Good one.. Went thrice but didn't spot the big cat. My bad luck. People who went once did spot it. Lota of other mammals though. Saw a rear sloth bear.

It should called deer park not national park. Not a single animal spotted . It's waste to spend 350 RS for this .it's better to go in zoo.

your hotel should be able to book the safari for you. we went in a covered bus and it was enjoyable trip for over 2 hours. There are options for open top jeeps which has to be booked online and are more costly and i guess... More
