Entrance fee was 200 pesos, they did not explain that if we want to use the pool or to swim in the cave that we have to pay extra 50 pesos for each. Plus what is frustrating is that when we reach the top at the cross if you want to see the top view you had to pay another 50 pesos 😓. And there’s no such beautiful view of the west Philippine sea that they said it’s too far. If we had known that there’s nothing much to see we didn’t continue to go where the cross is and paid 100 pesos to go up. ☹️ Can you imagine paying 200 pesos entrance fee and they still ask you to pay for additional 50 tsk tsk tsk….. Don’t waste your money here.

Was excited to visit the cave and cool down, but when I saw the monkeys chained up I was put off.

Would be nicer if the monkeys were in a large enclosure with enough room to roam around. Looked very depressing for smart animals with the same emotions as us.

Would not recommend until animal welfare is improved

Loved this place. The caves are very nice, you don't feel claustrophobia, at least in my case, what makes the visit very confortable. Not sure when will be the best time of the year, probably January to March, but still very worth the visit in May. A good tip would be to have a waterproof bag for your smartphone or a sports camera. Anyway, highly recom.

I didn't actually get to the caves. When I saw the monkeys chained to the tree, unable to roam or socialise with each other, I decided it wasn't worth the 150peso per person entry fee. If you have compassion, don't fund this animal cruelty!

The entrance fee of Php200 plus a parking fee of Php30 per vehicle is too expensive for this attraction!

I went to this place twice already and i was disappointed the 2nd time i visited the area for the ff reasons:

1. Entrance fee has increased to a whooping 150 pesos only to see the cave with a lagoon. Was it worth it - not much but some might disagree with me. Again that is my personal opinion. Not much of improvement from 2016.

2. Comparing my visits 2016 vs 2017 -staff are much more accommodating before , that they are now. They had a guide which will tell you the story why it was called enchanted cave right at the very entrance. I did not see one today.

3. Be informed that the 150 pesos you are paying excluding parking fee will not include the shower fee, oh yes you need to fetch your own water from their water station. (See pix attached plus the condition of the so called manual shower area). According to the staff, only guests with overnight stay are allowed to use the shower station for free. The rest if you are just a guest availing the day tour - no free shower.

4. Only 1 kiddie pool - guys do not expect that this a resort oh and yes only 1 kiddie pool that's it.
5. Additional fee php 50.00 if you want to climb the cross.

Summary -

you're 150 bucks plus shower fee will be worth it if you will spend it at the falls -rather than at enchanted cave. - bigger swimming area and cheaper entrance fee. you have 3 options with minimal fee php 20-50 per falls. ( see my other review for bolinao falls.)

Don't say i did not warn you :)

I did not swim here though. The water was cold! I think it's deep too. But very clear. It is privately owned so you have to pay fee which I think is a bit pricey. Our guide said this was once part of the ocean. Well you could really see that on the surroundings, as if the rocks are corals, maybe they really were!

Got disappointed when I went here because it is somehow polluted. Smells like urine probably from bats. And overpriced entrance fee.

We went there sometime late 2010 and the staff were so rude. The collection of fees is a mess and they blame and scold their customers. We even had a confrontation with the owner saying that we should not be going back their if we are not satisfied with their services. The old man (the owner) even bragged his position and influences in the town telling us that we should know him better.

They were mad when we took a shower use the water from the faucet.

The people were so damn rude.

Nice to place to visit. Several interesting pockets of interest. The tower provides a good view of the area. It was quiet when we were there and the hammocks helped us take a nap.
