Me and my mum went here we did not think the staff was helpful at all , we were not told that we had to walk to the top ( bearing in mind my mum has bad asthma ) just got some sarcastic comment from staff " how eles do you think you would get up here " which was... More

We stopped here by pure chance after a local at our Hostel suggested a quick stopover on our way down to Wellington. There's not a lot there other than the gorge and activities so if you're not planning on doing anything I wouldn't recommend the side trip (the gorge is very nice but a significant way off the highway). Having... More

Tried the Flying Fox because it looked like so much fun and people were screaming on the way down! Absolutely loved it. This was one of the highlights of my New Zealand trip. Sure, it was nuts, but this is the land of extreme sports so I had to give it a try. The scariest part of the whole experience... More

My friend and I were there in December 2014 and were able to do the Zip Line & Gravity Swing. We definitely did them in the right order (zip, then swing) and they were a lot of fun! I think our stomachs are still left up at the bridge. My friend had never done either type of activity and these... More

Stopped in on the way to Taupo (tandem skydive on Sunday) to check out the drive time/road. Watched people go on the flying fox and bridge swing (bungy didn't/doesn't operate at weekends)...why did I look down the side of the bank? Came back Monday to do my booked bungy. Had friends to do some 'other angle' videoing for me. Got... More

In my line of work, I meet lots of people and get to do lots of amazing things. This has definitely been a highlight of my extensive travels. The crew here are amazing, very friendly, supportive and fun, and I cannot speak highly enough of the beautiful location that makes up Gravity Canyon (not to mention... They strap a go... More

This was truly one of the best things I have done in my life! The staff were so helpful, friendly, and professional. I travelled from Hastings on a Monday morning just for the bridge swing and it was well worth the 6-7 hour round trip. We were the only ones there that day and felt like we had the entire... More

The gorge and view of the river are really something. The detour from the main road is very well signposted and the road is good. Friendly helpful staff and alternatives to the Bungee jump for the faint hearted.
