A sight with several displays beyond the main prayer hall which has very interesting original drawings of biblical texts and pictures on the walls. One of the areas is a replication of an old Jewish house just next to the synagogue hall itself

This Synagogue took my breadth away. After seeing so many frescos in churches throughout Europe, it was mind blowing to see such gorgeous frescos in a synagogue. This baroque synagogue was built in the Middle Ages. It's history is rich and sad. It is worth...More

This and the Jewish cemetery are not to be missed. There is a well presented exhibition and the synagogue is fascinating. There are good tours in English or you can walk around yourself.
