Fort Walsh has been much improved since we last visited twenty years ago. A modern and new interpretive centre, and the Fort itself. Wonderful grounds and very good staff! Well worth the three hours we spent there.

Historic Fort with Traders Outbuildings. From bunkhouses, officer's quarters, stables, gun shop, carriage house, etc. Surrounded by forests and open space. Volunteers and staff in period costumes. Only wish they would sell trade items from the Traders building.
