We had to pay an entrance fee to get a very short guided tour whigh ended in a tacky shop. It was actually mainly about trying to sell us as much stuff as possible. The cave was tiny and the tour was only in French....More

The visit is in French but we lend a document in Dutch Italian Spanish English and German for foreigners so that they can understand our art craft. The guide speaks English, like hostess at the end of the visit. We are here to answer to...More

I realise there isn't much more they could show you but this is basically three rooms and a tunnel which in my opinion wasn't worth the money. English guidebooks are provided and the staff speak English so no problems for us there but the exhibit...More

Went to view attraction as weather was not the best so figured find somewhere indoors to spend a little time. The level of craftsmanship is really impressive and the detail of the pieces once petrified is quite amazing. A nice way to spend an hour...More

Nature is just amazing. We did a self-guided tour with the Tourist Book (in English) - Video in French (luckily the book gives you the low-down in writing). Quite a quick tour (good if you're with children) however you can take your time - touch...More

I heard of the art of petrification before coming here, but I was amazed by the simplicity of the concept and of course the quality of the artwork. The result is somewhere between fine china and marble. I recommend this tour into the heart of...More

Interesting concept. The tour starts in a cave with small stalactites etc then to a chamber where the calcified water is fed over objects and plaques to form "stone" trinkets.
