We have taken various parts of the path. The views out across the bay are fantastic, the path is in the main easy to follow - but do wear sturdy shoes as at some points it is rocky.

Fantastic views of the coast. Walked in all seasons. Would recommend sturdy walking boots out of season or walking sandals in summer - some rocks to scramble over. Call at Caplan and Co for a refreshing drink or a crepe. Opens mid afternoon to 9pm.

The Sentier des Douaniers can be accessed from many different points along the coast, provides some gorgeous views of the sea but is not for the handicapped; it is a very rough and uneven path with lots of rocks jutting out. Worth seeing but wear appropriate (tennis) shoes and don't attempt if you are shakey on your feet.
