We rented kayaks and paddled all through the islands. Pack a lunch and pull up onto the granite for a meal and a swim.

I see your question is very old, but just in case, let me answer it. Philip Edward Island is on Georgian Bay, so there aren't any lakes to speak of; of course, all kinds of boats are allowed on Georgian Bay. This is still... More
