We had a great time diving here. But you have to keep in mind that Yonaguni isn't a very big island. Without the diving you could really see most of the island in a day. There are very few restaurants (3 or 4 at the...More

I made the trek here with a buddy and we stayed a half day / night. This gave us enough time to bike around the island, grab some photos with the wild ponies, and visit irizaki where the stone monument commemorates the islands status as...More

都会での嫌なことを忘れられるくらい、のどかで時間を忘れられる最高の土地。広い空に広い海、波の音以外何も聞こえない静かな島。何もないことが逆に最高の産物だと感じる。 My mind feels it was cleared by the scenery I saw. You should definitely go.

Definitely recommend! Monument is stunning! Coral reef is full of life, turtles, sharks etc. We had a great dive master from Su-Wes diving shop. He took us to go around pinnacle and arches and caves.

The only down side is the certainty that you will get many many mossie bites. So I'll start this review with bring loads of bug spray and cream. Lovely relaxed island, decent value for money, very unique dives. Yonaguni has it all.

The monument is a very unique place to dive. Not sure if I agree with the theories behind its formation, but very cool to see underwater. Missed the hammers schooling, but will def. be back in the winter months next time for sure.

Great for the diving, isolated with some beautiful and impressive cliffs. The horses were pretty, the little beaches (roku-jun umi) are cute and tiny. Saw a sea turtle floating on the waves crashing into the sides of the island from high above that was pretty...More

Great island to relax and enjoy the scenery. Unlike ishigaki, this island has very few tourists. Wild horses roam the island and the scenery is picture perfect where ever you look. There are beautiful deserted beaches (although a little dirty from the sea garbage) and...More

Spent 4 nights on Yonaguni on a diving trip. Got to see the wonderful underwater ruins, hammerhead sharks, manta, and spend time with other like minded divers. This is a great dive location for any divers. Above the water we enjoyed the limited nightlife and...More

Yes, you can. From Okinawa you need to fly to Ishigaki and then to Yonaguni. The tickets are available for purchase only 30 days before flight. The airline is Ryukyu Air Commuter (RAC) I think.
