We went to kurokawa onsen on april and stayed 2 nights there. Took the bus from higo ozu, glad we purchased the bus ticket in advance because it was full. We stayed at ryokan ichinoi and purchased nyutoo tegata. Went to yanamizuki, san-ai and yamabiko....More

Worth to spend the night here Very convenient to go by public bus, good onsen and ryokan in this small town, less crowded and touristy than Yufuin

It is such a nice place!! We did some onsen already in japan but i think it is my favorite so far! The village is gorgeous and the onsen really nice! Shops and food is also very nice! I really recommand this thermal villge
