only 1 day per week? glad we could see this - no number restrictions like at Tsukigi Tokyo! good balcony to view the market for free and simple stalls on the quay serve sushi and cooked fish.

If you are in Katsuura for the hot springs or waterfall and are not allergic to getting up early then this is moderately interesting to see. There is minimal English tourist information so you are just watching a warehouse full of dead fish with fisherman...More
