Naeba Ski Resort is connected with neighbouring Kagura Ski Resort by Dragondola, Japan’s longest gondola. The entire area is called “Mt. Naeba”, which consists of 4 ski areas and has many fans from home and abroad. Naeba Prince Hotel at the bottom of the ski area has 1,224 rooms and offers various fun experiences such as gourmet dining, shopping and hot springs. The resort has very convenient access from the Tokyo area as it takes just 2 and half hours by train or car.

An excellent resort with something for everybody beginners to intermediates and of course something for the advanced amongst us! A little too busy at the weekend; resembled the rush hour at Tokyo station. Nonetheless a lovely visit for family and friends alike.

Kagura is nice. Slopes are not crowded at all and in fact many times I was the only one down the run... The access way from Naeba to Kagura is not so nice for snowboarders though. Rather flattish and in one part slightly uphill. If...More

there had bus around from gala station. it was very convenient to play together with Gala. the all mountain pass was attractive at this reosrt !

We go Naeba every year because it's convenient from Tokyo. Flying to Tokyo is much easier than to any other skiing regions in the holiday season. So much snow this year! We barely see 10 meters away! We have built snowman, fort and igloo daily...More

You might look the ski run 45°, absolutely not. If you are professional skiers, you must go to Mt. Hakkai, it is better. I think. But it is nice slopes.

Should be ok...resort is open until May although it’s always worth doing a snow check before you travel
