Fantastic powder snow, lovely views of Mount Yotei and Lake Toya. Great ski lifts. There is a great ski school. They were so helpful and the ski instructors are world class. We visited 3 times in 3 montths!

It was our first Hokkaido ski experience and we had a great time. Mornings seemed to have better weather in January, but be sure to dress warmly, it gets freezing! The powder is unbelievable but I'm not enough of a good skier to appreciate it!...More

When we visited for the day, only one mountain was open. However the snow was excellent . We paid a bit more to sit in the K Lounge at Mt East as the resturant was utilitarian and the good did not look appetising.

We came here in March the snow condition was still good. The slope at Mt. ISOLA is good for a leisure run. The ski site is not so big and it worth to spend 2 days here and the rest of time at Niseko, which...More

After 9 years coming to Japan 🇯🇵 I can absolutely rate Rusutsu as my favourite. Great long runs, lots of off piste in and out of the trees. Huge terrain and so far none of the huge crowds of Niseko. A few great little local...More

Rusutsu has something for everyone. Excellent groomers on both mountains for beginners and intermediates, the quirky shopping arcade in the resort hotel, some good local eating options, and the tree skiing is sensational when it is on. Mt Isola has lots of different glades and...More
