I used to visit Ermita San Jacinto when I was a student of St. Paul University because it is located just in front of the university. As student, we used to play in front of the Ermita, which we called Patio. At present, the ambiance is not as good as it used to be, calmer and quiter, but when you go inside the Ermita, it is still a place for solitude and reflection how God has been good to you....

This is just a cross the St Paul Church and university, one old side of the city. This could have been preserve and improve better to cater for more pilgrims, tourists and visitors. Seem to be in neglect and not maintained well. The beautiful chapel is a very nice place to promote for this Catholic city. Looking forward for better future

A very historic monument to the introduction of Catholicism in this part of the Phillipines by the Spanish.
A beautiful example of a 17th Century Church structure, well laid out in a simple orderly manner.
The building has a reverent theme and offers quiet contemplation.

The Province of Cagayan has several important religious landmarks. In Tuguegarao City, there is the Ermita de San Jacinto. To casual passersby, it just an ordinary if not obscured structure. But it is replete with history. The seed of Catholic faith can be traced here.
