A nice village and above it the ruins of a castle. Be careful when visiting the ruins it may be a little bit dangerous (you may fall). If you're interested there is a place for climbing on the path to the castle.

This is a wonderful walk from the village to the ruined castle towering high above it. The walk takes about 30 minutes each way and the views from the top are breath taking. You can even see Montsegur castle high up in its peak down...More

In order to get to the castle of Roquefixade, you have to get up a steep path. Be sure you'll be out of breath when you get there. The castle is in complete ruins, but you get a pretty good view on what it should...More
