Enroute from Tissa to Ella. By the lake side and can be visited . Since many of these are there at alll cities can be avoided if one is short of time

this is another spot sacred to the buddhist people in Sri Lanka. It is an important place of worship because of its historicval significance, and the legends woven around the temple. Must observe modest dress and it is bare feet in the temple premises.
