We loved the idea that we were walking around Giacomo Puccini's favorite place. The lake, with mountains in the background, has a special atmosphere.

Lovely romantic place, great for romantic walks or for scenery photographers. We loved to have a picnic with a sunset towards the mountains.

A scenic lake backed by mountains with ancient wooden jetties and rushes in the freground. Take bins or a telphoto to search for wildfowl. Spoiled a little by the vibrant blue seats in the Puccini theatre but doesn't compromise the best views and opera on...More

This is a must stop for people who are into bird watching. If you have even twenty minutes to stop and check it out, I highly recommend it for nature lovers.

Place to visit, along with Lucca - the Maestro's native city - to enjoy a real Puccini's atmosphere.

What a nice view here. So calm and tender. Mountains are reflecting in the water... It was not holiday season when we were there, so it was peaceful. In July you can go to the Opera nearby the water. That is a real big event!...More

This lake is situated at the one end of Torre del Lago Puccini while the other end has a beach. There is also a boat ride in the lake for 1 hour. From Pisa, Italy this place is located within 30mins by train.
