What a fantastic place to visit! If you're into whisky this is the perfect place to go. Costs £10 for a tour of the distillery and was the most informative tour we have ever taken. This place is the only distillery in Scotland that makes...More

The equipment and distillery that is on show here is replicated by no one else. This alone should mean its 5/5 for me. Simply stunning how the mashing operates, how the water source is literally inside the garage distillery and the still/equipment is (in my...More

Others have already written about the general configuration of the site, John's tour patter etc. I was alone with him for about 45 minutes during which he showed me round and described the process, answering my questions and allowing me to deviate from the script...More

Rather a strange place to say the least. The hotel it is a part of looks almost deserted and closed down. The parking area is a mess. The entire place as an air of neglect about it. The entrance to the shop is via a...More

The visit is quite interesting in this "smallest distillery", but at the end, the owner cannot propose us to buy real whisky, but only distilled alcohol. Ok, we take 2 small bottles of this alcohol (17 £ each ...), at least to thank for the...More

Interesting, informative and fun,, John the host tells a great well rehearsed story that introduces the art of whiskey distilling through the ages, take the tour it's very informative and presents a very interesting view of the days when the distilling of whiskey was rife.
